The Eurasian Polygraph Public Association is the first independent public association, unifying polygraph examiners regardless of their departmental affiliation, education received, and the polygraph models on which they work.
In 2007, the Almaty Association of Polygraph Examiners was originally created. On July 1st, 2008, the Association acquired legal status, and the Department of Justice for Almaty city under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan assigned it registration No. 92972-1910-OO. In connection with expanding the scope of its activities, joining the Association by polygraph examiners of various regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other countries of Central Asia, as well as in connection with the 10th anniversary of the introduction of the polygraph in Kazakhstan, the Almaty Polygraph Public Association" successfully rebranded into the Eurasian Polygraph Public Association. On Aptril 10th, 2012 it was reregistered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the Eurasian Polygraph Public Association.
Today, more than 500 members of the Association successfully implement the polygraph in all regional centers and other cities of Kazakhstan, as well as in many CIS and non-CIS countries. The Association sets itself the goals of information support for the interests and activities of polygraph examiners of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to promote the consolidation of forces and the creation of conditions for the fullest realization of the creative potential of polygraph examiners.
The Eurasian Polygraph Association regularly organizes and holds conferences, round tables, training courses, seminars and trainings, helps in the selection and purchase of printing equipment. On the basis of the Charter, the Association’s Methodological Commission monitors the compliance of polygraph examiners with professional rules and ethical standards, conducts a professional examination of polygraph examiners’ activities and protects citizens from illegal or unqualified use of the polygraph.
The training center of the Association has trained about 600 beginner polygraph examiners for the law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan (including the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Presidential Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan), as well as for large Kazakhstan banks, industrial and commercial organizations, as well as polygraph examiners of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and other countries.
