Kazakhstan seeks international security solutions
Kazakh security buyers will be attending the 2nd Almaty International Protection, Security, Fire Safety and Rescue Exhibition (AIPS) on 14th - 16th March 2012, in Almaty, Kazakhstan to source new solutions from international security companies.
AIPS unites local and international security and fire safety suppliers with decision-makers from Kazakh companies. The exhibition is divided into the following key sections: security; protection; rescue; fire safety; IT safety; weapons and self-defence equipments.
Kazakhstan is ranked as the ‘Top 10 Most Improved Countries’ and 59th in the ‘Ease of Doing Business 2011’ index, with one of the fastest developing security and fire protection markets. 4,000 visitors from more than 25 countries attended the last edition of AIPS.
Exhibitors entering the Kazakhstan security and fire safety market may also benefit from tax breaks and subsidies as planned by the Industry and New Technologies Minister, Asset Issekeshev who commented. This incentive aims to attract foreign companies investing in the non-raw material sector. "A special regime will be offered to strategic investment projects, and privileges will be provided individually depending on the project, in accordance with the government's decision".
Dilshod Yusupov, International Project Manager, ITE Group, commented: “Kazakhstan’s GDP growth is 6.9%. This is expected to increase for the next two years which demonstrates the growth potential of the Kazakh security market. Therefore, exhibitors who enter this market first will, no doubt, gain the most business opportunities”.
AIPS 2011 will also combine the exhibition with an extensive business programme to be released shortly.
